{"id":16141,"date":"2025-01-19T22:13:59","date_gmt":"2025-01-19T22:13:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oll-sample1.com\/?page_id=16141"},"modified":"2025-03-31T20:41:26","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T20:41:26","slug":"short-history-of-aguardiente","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/us.desquite.com\/es\/short-history-of-aguardiente\/","title":{"rendered":"Breve Historia del Aguardiente"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Breve Historia del Aguardiente<\/h5>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>La historia del aguardiente se remonta muchos siglos atr\u00e1s en Europa, donde se usaba como remedio y fue llamado \"aqua vitae\" pues se cre\u00eda que prolongaba la vida.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.desquite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Desquite-Artisanal-Authentic-Colombian-Aguardiente-The-History-of-Aguardiente.webp?1743453686\"  itemprop=\"image\" srcset=\"https:\/\/us.desquite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Desquite-Artisanal-Authentic-Colombian-Aguardiente-The-History-of-Aguardiente.webp?1743453686 1x,https:\/\/us.desquite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Desquite-Artisanal-Authentic-Colombian-Aguardiente-The-History-of-Aguardiente.webp?1743453686 2x\"\/>\n\t\t\t\t<p>El arte de destilar lleg\u00f3 a la cultura occidental de mano de la cultura \u00e1rabe medieval a trav\u00e9s de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Inicialmente, se utilizaba como una cura para aliviar problemas estomacales sufridos tanto por los locales como por los marineros.<\/p>\n<p>Su llegada a Am\u00e9rica se dio gracias a Crist\u00f3bal Col\u00f3n, quien en sus primeros viajes trajo algunos v\u00e1stagos de ca\u00f1a de az\u00facar para ser cosechados y con cuyos primeros cultivos comenz\u00f3 a fabricarse el aguardiente.<\/p>\n<p>En esencia, el aguardiente y el ron tienen los mismos comienzos (destilaci\u00f3n de melaza o jugo de ca\u00f1a), lo que dificulta determinar qu\u00e9 surgi\u00f3 primero en la historia: Cuando se produce alcohol de ca\u00f1a, el nombre dado a los corazones se llama tafia o aguardiente, o incluso directamente ron. Algunos lugares embotellan el producto sin proceso de envejecimiento, algunos lo envejecen y otros agregan especias, d\u00e1ndoles diferentes nombres.<\/p>\n<p>Los marineros espa\u00f1oles condimentaban el aguardiente con an\u00eds para ayudarles en sus largos viajes como una cura bot\u00e1nica para el mareo, tal como lo hab\u00edan hecho durante d\u00e9cadas en el Mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque el Aguardiente tiene muchas bebidas similares en el mar Mediterr\u00e1neo, solo Colombia hered\u00f3 y tom\u00f3 como propio el sabor del an\u00eds en su licor local. Al hablar de bebidas similares, las culturas que todav\u00eda usan an\u00eds en sus bebidas son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Turqu\u00eda: Araki<\/li>\n<li>Grecia: Ozuco<\/li>\n<li>Italia: Sambuca<\/li>\n<li>Francia: Paris<\/li>\n<li>Espa\u00f1a: Orujo\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<p>In Colombia, since the inception of the republic in the 1830&#8217;s, the government seized the production of alcoholic beverages to turn them into a source of income by creating a state monopoly that would produce and sell its own alcoholic beverages. However, with time, and as with all state run enterprises, distillation became extinct in the 1980&#8217;s, having local companies source their alcohol in the commodity market as extra neutral cane based alcohol. Aguardiente became just a mixture of pure alcohol, water and anise extract.<\/p>\n<p>La tragedia de perder nuestra propia personalidad en la producci\u00f3n de bebidas espirituosas colombianas fue de tal magnitud, que nuestro esp\u00edritu nacional ha ido perdiendo cuota de mercado frente al whisky y la cerveza.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>En 2020 la tensi\u00f3n que se viv\u00eda en el pa\u00eds entre los partidos pol\u00edticos llevaba a que las personas encontrar\u00e1n en esta bebida espirituosa una medicina que los llenar\u00e1 de alegr\u00eda, les quitar\u00e1 el estr\u00e9s y las tristezas.<\/p>\n<p>Licores Artesanales naci\u00f3 con esta nueva ley y est\u00e1 tomando t\u00e9cnicas tradicionales de destilaci\u00f3n para producir Aguardiente como se hac\u00eda antes.
